You Are the Sign: Why You Already Know What to Do (Even If You Don’t Feel Ready)
✨ You Are the Sign: Why You Already Know What to Do (Even If You Don’t Feel Ready)
Because clarity doesn’t arrive on command—it unfolds when you move.
There’s a moment in every becoming journey—
where something stirs inside you.
A truth.
A vision.
A quiet “what if…” that doesn’t go away.
You feel it rise in your chest.
You think, “Maybe this is the thing.”
And then… you wait.
You wait until it feels safer.
More polished.
More guaranteed.
You look to the sky, your calendar, or someone else’s approval and whisper:
“I’ll move… when I get the sign.”
But what if the sign isn’t coming?
What if the sign is you?
💔 The Moment That Made Me Begin
Two years ago, my husband and I had one of the hardest arguments of our marriage.
We were doing well on paper.
But emotionally?
We were misaligned, disconnected, and barely treading water.
Stress, unspoken fear, and old survival habits surfaced all at once.
It wasn’t explosive.
It was the kind of unraveling that’s quiet—but deep.
The kind where your heart sinks, and you realize something has to change.
That night, I didn’t spiral.
I wrote.
Not to fix it.
But to feel it.
To try to understand the version of me who didn’t want to keep living in survival mode.
What came through… was the beginning of the LTS Journal.
✍️ The Journal I Held Onto for Two Years
I poured myself into it.
Edited. Rewrote. Refined.
And then… I didn’t release it.
Not because it wasn’t powerful.
Not because I didn’t believe in it.
But because I kept waiting for that “magic moment” that would tell me I was finally ready.
The perfect sign.
The green light from the Universe.
The burst of confidence that never came.
But something else happened instead:
I became the woman who could carry it.
Through the quiet work.
Through holding the idea gently, even when I wasn’t sure I was “enough” to share it.
Through showing up imperfectly and letting the project stretch me.
🧠 Why We Wait (Even When We Know)
There’s actually a name for this: delayed initiation.
It’s what happens when our nervous system equates visibility with danger.
We delay the things that matter most—not because they’re wrong—
but because they make us feel exposed.
We stall to stay safe.
We polish to avoid rejection.
We second-guess so we don’t have to risk being seen too soon.
But the truth is…
You don’t build courage by waiting.
You build it by moving—even if your voice shakes when you start.
💡 What Helped Me Share It Anyway
Here’s what helped me finally move:
-
✍️ I journaled through my fears, then asked: “What if this still helps someone anyway?”
-
✨ I reminded myself: Perfect is the enemy of real.
-
🌿 I let go of being “ready” and embraced growing as I go.
-
💌 And I trusted this: The people who need your work aren’t waiting for it to be perfect. They’re waiting for it to feel true.
🎧 Want to Go Deeper?
I shared the full story in Episode 16: “You Are the Sign”—a soft but firm reminder to stop sitting on your magic and start walking with your truth.
Even if you don’t have it all figured out.
Even if it’s messy.
Even if your dream still feels bigger than your confidence.
You don’t need a bigger sign.
You just need to listen to the one already beating inside your chest.
